Vanessa Roberts grew up in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. After ten years of working at a large organization in management and marketing, she decided to pursue her passion for problem-solving and helping others and received her Juris Doctor. She is currently completing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Saskatchewan.
While in school, she volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada on multiple projects, including legal information sessions at family law clinics hosted by the Ministry of Justice. She also participated in the 2022 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot where her team placed fourth. Driven by her interest in criminal law, she was President of a student-led criminal law club in her final year of law school.
She also had the pleasure of working as a law student intern at a start-up company changing the estate administration process for people suffering the loss of a loved one.
Vanessa became an associate with Scott & Beaven Law Office in May, 2023. Her practice includes criminal defence, real estate, corporate matters, family law, and estate planning.
